A few months ago I had the chance to go to Monterey for a conference,
and we managed to see some nice sights (and beer) while there.
It's been a busy few weeks with crunch-time at Brett's work, Debbie's
business trips, and general holiday planning, so there hasn't been
much time to post on the blog. We have some photos which I've been
meaning to post for a couple weeks all on here:
I've been working on holiday beers & ciders in-between taking Charlie
for walks, so this should be something to enjoy in the months to come.
We're looking forward to holiday travel!
I'm posting some photos from a conference I went to in Monterey a few
months ago, a nice reminder of warm places, even if it is raining
right now. I've also updated the blog format on the right-hand side to
contain a persistent link to our photo repositories.
Wow, it's been so cold in Portland lately, it's 38F right now and it's about -2F under my desk at work. My feet are freezing, and I'm in the building! (Ok, I'm exaggerating somewhat about the temp under my desk...) I'm glad it's been dry for a week or more, but I would prefer something over 40F so I could do some caulking on the house which requires warmer temperatures to cure.
We've been busy lately with lots of traveling for Thanksgiving to NC and IL, and working a little too hard. Julie O visited us this weekend which has been fun, and the Winter beerfest was this past weekend also. Yummy!
