Utah Trip!

We had a wonderful time in Utah! With our friends Kendall and Keith and their 16month old Jonah, we backpacked and camped several nights then stayed in Moab for a couple nights. We spent most of the time in Canyonlands national park, and made a visit or three to Arches national park. We have been too busy with the remodel for me to upload most of the pictures to the website yet, but I've put together a few of the best ones for a teaser. We had a wonderful time in Utah! Update of kitchen project and general goings on

The past few weeks have been a wild ride. We've gone camping with a 16
month old in Utah, relaxed in wine country for labor day, and done a
bunch of work on the kitchen project. We've got the cabinets in and
almost right, the countertops are on their way and many other details
are being finished up this week. We're also skim coating the walls in
the downstairs bedroom and bathroom for painting, as if the kitchen
wasn't enough to do. We've more or less moved upstairs for now
although the entire house is now a complete wreck, soon to be fixed up
once we have places to put all the stuff that was displaced from the
kitchen and bedroom.

Unfortunately I haven't had time to post any photos yet from the house
or the wonderful Utah trip, but soon. For now I'll tease you with an
unrelated photo: what does a German pope use for the bread and wine
during mass?
