Hillsboro Gearheads

We fly just behind G.I. Joe's in Hillsboro, OR

Sometimes it gets rough out there..!

Since there are several pilots who fly in this field I thought it would be a good thing to have a frequency chart to help remember who is on which channels and to help the new fliers choose the appropriate channels for their new radios. If you know of someone who flies here but isn't in this chart, or need to make an adjustment please shoot me an email at frequencies@brettanddebbie.com.

We generally fly combat (but only with willing participants of course). If you're interested in flying combat with us just mention it, we're always willing to have more players! We generally fly full-contact combat (not some cut-the-streamer wimpy stuff) with our foamies but have been considering using these gadgets also.

Currently we generally fly weekdays around noon. There is a mailing list but I don't want to post it - email me for more info.

Also we tend to use a lot of batteries, especially now that many of us use brushless motors. The best source we've found for batteries is Cheap Battery Packs which has great service, good prices, and is a nice local shop. If you buy stuff from them select the "Hillsboro Gearheads" as your club when you checkout (you don't have to be a "member" to do it) and we might win a prize!
